Brute Force Protection

Brute force protection helps secure accounts from login attacks, such as dictionary attacks. If an IP address fails multiple login attempts for the same user, the protection blocks that IP from further login attempts.

Brute force protection includes features like rate limiting and manual permanent blocking of IP and email addresses.

To enable and configure brute force protection:

  1. Click Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Platform.
  3. Scroll to Brute force protection and toggle it On.
  4. Once the page loads, you can configure the available options.
